About Ted
Ted Ring enjoys developing relationships with clients to help them identify their most important goals. He works with an advisory team to design a plan that sets clients on a path to achieve those aspirations, whether that’s a big family vacation, retirement or paying for their grandchildren's college expenses.
As a wealth advisor for Buckingham Strategic Wealth, Ted finds satisfaction in both the investment and planning part of his work. Analytical by nature, he likes crunching the numbers that can help clients make sound financial decisions, but he also enjoys developing a holistic wealth management strategy that can move clients closer to the future they envision for themselves and their family.
Prior to working at Buckingham, Ted served as a portfolio advisor for WealthQuest Financial Services. Before that, he spent four years as an internal wholesaler for American Funds.
Ted found his passion for his work in college, earning a bachelor's degree in financial planning from Virginia Tech and his master of business administration from Old Dominion University. Ted also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.
Ted lives the family life in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, being outdoors and fishing.
