Scott Worley, CFP®
Seeing someone’s face light up after helping to bring clarity into their financial life is the most rewarding part of Scott’s day. He knows from experience that there’s nothing quite like the feeling that comes with making a real difference for families in the community in which he lives, works and grew up.
For Scott, it all comes down to giving clients the tools they need to make smart decisions in their financial lives. That means investing time to build trusted relationships with clients, developing a solid foundation on which to build a successful wealth strategy. The result is that clients truly understand their finances and attain peace of mind — which, in turn, allows them the freedom to do the things that bring them the most enjoyment from life.
As a wealth advisor, Scott works with clients to generate, implement and maintain comprehensive wealth management strategies designed to help them achieve their most important financial goals. His specialties include investment management and tax strategies, advanced planning, retirement analysis and education planning tailored to fit clients’ unique needs.
Scott also has extensive experience in retirement plan services for corporate clients. He helps businesses address liabilities as a retirement plan sponsor by selecting appropriate service providers for their plans, scheduling and documenting the plan review process, developing an investment strategy, and providing guidance to their participants.
Scott arrived at Buckingham Strategic Wealth through the firm’s 2016 merger with Herbein Wealth Management, based in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, where he had served as a partner and wealth strategist since 2007. Prior to joining Herbein, Scott spent seven years with The Vanguard Group, where he held roles as a financial associate and relationship administrator.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Tennessee in 2000. He also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional designation.
Outside of work, Scott is involved with several community and professional organizations. He serves as a board member and treasurer for The Gilmore Henne Community Fund, which was established in 2010 to revitalize parks and recreational facilities in Berks County. Scott is also a member of the Greater Reading Young Professionals, Berks Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association, as well as a lifetime member of Alpha Kappa Psi.
Scott was born and raised in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Wernersville. He and his wife, Antonella, have two children, Mia and Athena. He enjoys golfing, playing the guitar, watching college football, and spending time with family and friends.
