Rob Mitchell’s desire to help individual investors and his passion for the financial markets are what led him to Buckingham Strategic Wealth. After several years of providing research and advice to active fund managers, Rob realized there had to be a better way for investors to reach their financial goals. Now, he utilizes the firm’s evidence-based investment approach to help clients pursue what’s most important to them.
Given the wide range of investment options and products available today, Rob knows first-hand how important investor education and advocacy can be, regardless of one’s experience. He provides his clients with the tools and information they need to identify and execute their long-term objectives confidently and effectively. It’s hugely satisfying for him to watch clients become more informed and make progress toward their goals.
As a wealth advisor, Rob works with an advisory team to manage client assets through portfolio implementation, rebalancing, retirement analysis and tax-loss harvesting. He understands the peace of mind that comes with a thorough and comprehensive wealth management plan, customized and maintained according to each individual client’s needs.
Prior to joining Buckingham in 2014, Rob worked as an equity research analyst for Robert W. Baird, focusing on large-cap and mid-cap U.S. bank stocks.
Rob received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marquette University, where he double-majored in finance and accounting and completed the Applied Investment Management Program. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner™ professional designations.
Rob was born and raised in St. Louis County and currently resides in Clayton.
