About Monica
For Monica Kovacs, clients are like family. As a client relationship specialist, she goes above and beyond to provide the outstanding support clients expect and deserve. She believes providing outstanding client service is an important reflection on all of Buckingham. From onboarding and welcoming new clients, to working with custodians on transfers or updates, she loves that her role has her interacting with so many different people every day.
Monica has worked in the financial industry in various capacities throughout her career, most recently, working for Alpern Wealth Management. She joined Buckingham in 2019, when the Alpern team joined us to form our Pittsburgh location. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Seton hill University.
A Pittsburgh native, she did live overseas for a number of years before returning to the states to be closer to family. She has two adult sons and lives with her significant other, Tom, and their golden retriever, Cricket. In her spare time, she enjoys making soy candles and home fragrances.
