Matt Spezialetti, CFP®

Knowing that he is serving clients by doing what’s in their best interest is paramount to Matt Spezialetti. That fiduciary standard of responsibility motivates him to provide the best service possible while helping clients create and build a long-term financial plan.

Matt serves as an associate wealth advisor in Buckingham’s Wyomissing office. He works with wealth advisors to ensure clients’ needs are met through rebalancing portfolios, determining allocation strategies and overseeing account requests. Matt’s passion is serving many individuals — including those who might not trust the financial industry or who are too overwhelmed to even get started. He finds it rewarding to help them answer important financial questions and give them confidence that they’re on the right path to meeting their goals.

Previously, Matt served as a portfolio advisor for Herbein Wealth Management, which joined Buckingham in 2016. Before entering the financial services industry, Matt worked in media relations for the Reading Phillies and the Charlotte Knights.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from La Salle University and a master’s degree in investment management from Temple University. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ profession designation, Series 65 securities license and has passed all three levels of the CFA exam.

A sports enthusiast at heart, Matt serves as a cameraman for the Reading Fightin Phils and as a seasonal sports reporter for the Reading Eagle. He also serves on the board of Berks Connections and Pretrial Services and the executive board of Family Guidance Center. Matt is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia, as well as the Greater Reading Young Professionals.
