About Karina
As an associate wealth advisor, Karina Kingman is ready to address any and all client needs. From solving complex account issues to completing special projects, she works to proactively answer the variety of client questions on a daily basis. She enjoys challenging requests that require focus and research, knowing that the hard work ultimately works towards helping clients achieve their financial goals.
The most rewarding aspect for Karina is helping clients, particularly female clients, take an active role in their finances and work towards securing their futures. No matter the task or project, Karina’s primary goal is providing consistent support and advocacy for clients.
Karina holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and completed graduate work in higher education administration at San Diego State University. Previously, she was the Director of the EF International Language school in San Diego and the Associate Executive Director of the Armed Services YMCA and La Jolla YMCA in San Diego. She was also owner of Kingman Solar. Most recently, she served six years as an advisor assistant and client service specialist for RNP Advisory Services. She joined the firm in 2020 when RNP merged with Buckingham.
Outside of her role, Karina is extremely active in her community serving as board member for the Awaso Hope Foundation, a member of the Morgan Hill Giving Circle and the creator and alumni advisor for the Saint Catherine’s Walk-a-Thon. One of her biggest passions is competitive dancing, currently in her 15th year with Lana’s Dance Team. She also enjoys hiking, coaching and traveling and spending time with her three wonderful daughters.
