About Josh
As a wealth advisor, Josh finds great personal satisfaction in educating clients so they can feel more informed and confident in the decisions they make in their lives. Each client has a unique idea about the definition of wealth, what their plans are today and where they want to be in the future. At the start of each client relationship Josh digs into a client’s background, their values and their goals. He works to make sure their path is taking them on the road they want to travel. If not, Josh helps adjust plans to get them back on track, and coaches clients to give them financial confidence so that they can focus their time and energy on the things in their lives they value the most.
Stumbling into investments after testing out the corporate finance waters during an internship at Boeing in Seattle, Josh enjoyed the research and data of an investments class during his senior year of college. The stock market fascinated him as it was different every day. After a few years in the industry Josh quickly realized that his true joy was working with clients and building relationships with them. He now finds collaboration and relationships with his team, as well as clients, makes each day fun, different and fulfilling.
Josh served as a senior wealth advisor at Confluence Wealth Management before the firm joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2020. He began his career in the financial industry in 2000 and has served in various roles at Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisors in the Pacific Northwest. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant. Outside of work, Josh serves as a board member for YMCA Camp Collins.
Josh, his wife and their four children love being outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. He is passionate about sports and has enjoyed coaching basketball with his children through the years.
