In his role as a wealth advisor, James develops and strengthens client relationships. He also partners with his team on the monitoring of portfolios. Prior to joining Buckingham, James served as a wealth advisor at Nova Wealth Management Group. He has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and wealth management industries.
James received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He has received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is a Certified Public Accountant. James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member and has served on the board of the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA), served on the board of the Capital Group, and is a Legacy Advisor for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
James currently resides in Atlanta, GA, with his wife Shannon, son Bruns, daughter Mary Collier and dog Dexter. During his spare time, James enjoys traveling, cooking, hunting, golf and watching Georgia football.
