Elliot Dole is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional whose practice is centered around clients’ needs and dreams. As an Advanced Planning Advisor at Buckingham, Elliot provides client solutions and acts as a valuable resource for advisors. Also, a practicing Wealth Advisor, Elliot draws on experience working in the field with high-net-worth clients and professional advisors. His areas of concentration include client development, charitable legacy planning, and advisor development.
Elliot possesses specialized knowledge in investments, estate planning and specifically taxation having earned a master’s degree in the area. He is particularly adept at helping clients who are looking to build charitable legacies, establish wealth transfers to heirs or plan a business succession. Working in collaboration with families and their other advisors such as attorneys and accountants, Elliot and his team are committed to a process which allows each client the opportunity to participate in identifying issues and their best solutions, while overseeing all facets of the family’s financial life.
Elliot has a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College, an MBA from the University of New Orleans, Certificate of Financial Planning from Boston University, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a member of the board of directors of the Estate Planning Council of Saint Louis, a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC), is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, an Enrolled Agent, Accredited Estate Planner® and Certified Exit Planner.
However, Elliot’s accreditation as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy brings him the most reward professionally and personally. It has afforded him the opportunity to serve as a Legacy Advisory Board member for independent charities as well as being a contributor to Retirement Daily on the topic of philanthropic planning. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors for the St. Louis Estate Planning Council and is a member of the New York City Estate Planning Council.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Elliot lives in his hometown with his wife, Elise, and their daughter. Elliot has been with Buckingham since 2009.
