About Brenda
The most rewarding part of Brenda Janikowski’s day is the knowledge that she’s helped her clients come closer to achieving their long-term financial goals. It doesn’t matter whether it’s funding a college education for a client’s children or grandchildren, creating a plan to help a client retire in comfort, or putting in place the estate documents needed to ensure a client’s assets will go where they want. When a client says, "I couldn’t have done it without you," it makes Brenda’s day.
For Brenda, financial services is about making a connection with clients, forming a relationship based on trust and feeling like she can be a part of their financial success. Because financial planning has so many moving parts, she understands that the process can be intimidating to many people. Brenda’s goal is to make the things simple, helping people understand each step so they can make sound decisions and become financially secure.
As a wealth advisor, Brenda helps manage client assets through portfolio implementation, rebalancing, retirement analysis, and tax and estate planning. She serves clients in both our Casper, Wyoming and Scottsdale, Arizona offices. Brenda understands the peace of mind that comes with a thorough and comprehensive wealth management plan, tailored and maintained according to each client’s needs.
Brenda served as a financial advisor with Asset Strategies Inc. until the firm joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2015. Brenda holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional designation and has passed the Series 65 exam. Brenda is also a NAPFA registered financial advisor.
She currently serves on the board of the Central Wyoming Estate Planning Council. Outside of work, she’s involved with Natrona County 4-H and serves as treasurer of the organization’s Livestock Sale. Brenda lives on a ranch outside of Casper, Wyoming (the ranch on which she grew up), with her husband and the youngest of her four children. Her family raises horses and competes in rodeo and team sorting events.
