Client Experience Advisor
Bert Schweizer III
In 1994, Bert Schweizer III co-founded Buckingham Strategic Wealth on the vision that clients need a trusted advisor to help map out financial objectives, and someone to give sound investment advice while acting in the their best interest at all times. He brings this philosophy to all client relationships — for individuals, businesses and nonprofits. Prior to forming Buckingham, Bert worked for KPMG Peat Marwick and was a shareholder of the CPA firm of Pasternak, Schweizer & Co., P.C. He has more than 40 years of experience in accounting and personal finance and is a frequent speaker on the topic of CPA-based investment advisor and wealth management services. His experience includes numerous aspects of accounting, tax and consulting for individuals and closely held businesses, including estate and retirement planning, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, marital dissolution, tax and financial planning, and expert witness testimony.
Bert holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Planning division. Bert is also a board member of Camp Rainbow, which provides a camp experience for children with cancer and blood related diseases.
