Buckingham Strategic Wealth Is Named Among Top RIA Firms

Buckingham Strategic Wealth has turned in a top-25 finish on Financial Advisor’s 2017 RIA Ranking, again claiming a spot on the magazine’s annual list.

While earning industry awards in no way motivates the firm’s efforts to become a leader in the independent wealth management space, this distinction among our peers acknowledges Buckingham’s successful evolution into an enterprise-level firm while developing the strength, focus, depth and commitment to unparalleled client service required to help an ever-widening range of investors secure their financial futures. It also serves as welcome acknowledgement that our client-focused and comprehensive, evidence-based approach to investing merits recognition for helping a diverse group of individuals, families, businesses, institutions and retirement plan sponsors achieve their most important financial goals.

Buckingham, which is ranked 24th out of more than 600 firms, joins RIAs on the list showing not only growth in assets, but also growth in assets per client and an increase in number of client relationships overall.

Our recognition on Financial Advisor’s 2017 RIA Ranking comes on the heels of our June appearance in this year’s edition of the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (FT 300) list. 2017 marks the third consecutive year Buckingham has earned a place on the FT 300.

The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers is an independent listing produced annually (June 2017) by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the Financial Times that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures and Financial Times research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and online accessibility. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to the Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
