Buckingham Stories: Brad Jenkins, Wealth Advisor
During his college baseball career, Brad Jenkins never hit a home run. Instead of swinging wildly for the fences, hoping he’d connect, Brad focused on his role as the leadoff hitter. He hit line drives, drew walks and stole some bases — a lot of bases, in fact.
Brad is still following that grounded, practical approach as a Buckingham advisor, such as when he went to lunch with a client, who started talking about swinging wildly for the fences by investing in the same hedge fund a friend
was involved with. Brad reminded the client to keep his focus and take his investing future one base at a time. The result: The friend didn’t fare so well, while Brad’s client stayed in the game.
Brad believes strongly that his clients should have total wealth management, and as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, he has demonstrated proficiency in the areas of insurance and risk management, employee benefits, investments, income tax, retirement and estate planning. Blend those all-around skills with a big-picture mindset, and it’s easy to see why Brad is an invaluable member of the Buckingham team.
